Why Shouldn’t I Run Away?

There have been moments when I’ve wanted to disappear—to pack a bag, leave without a trace, and let the world figure out where I went. Maybe you’ve felt it too. The urge to escape, to run away from responsibilities, from expectations, from the weight of the ordinary and I ask myself, why shouldn't I run away? But then, I realized something: I didn’t need to run away. I needed to run toward. Towards the beauty of nature. To heal, to absorb the serendipity of the world without the hustle and bustle.

Run Towards the Unknown
I will run towards the unknown, toward new faces, unfamiliar streets, and breathtaking landscapes that remind me how vast and thrilling life can be. Travel isn’t about escaping reality—it’s about expanding it. It’s about sipping mint tea in a hidden riad in Marrakech, standing at the edge of the Cliffs of Moher with the wind in your hair, or getting lost in the neon glow of Tokyo’s Shinjuku district, only to find yourself again.
Runaway to Heal
The beauty of traveling is that it teaches you to live in the moment. It reminds you that time is fleeting and that every sunset over Santorini or every bustling market in Bangkok is a moment to be cherished. Travel forces you to pause, to breathe, to see the world not as a backdrop but as an experience meant to be lived. It turns strangers into friends, unknown places into homes, and fleeting moments into lifelong memories.

Why shouldn't you Run away
Why waste time doing things that don’t set your soul on fire? Why spend your days longing for adventure when adventure is out there, waiting for you? We often convince ourselves that we need to wait for the right time—the right amount of money, the perfect circumstances—but the truth is, the perfect time never comes. The only time we have is now.
So, I won’t only run away, I will chase life also. I will run toward the mountains, the oceans, the cities that whisper stories through their streets. I will run toward the experiences that make my heart race and my spirit soar. Because the world is too beautiful, too vast, too rich in wonder to simply not flee. It is meant to be explored, embraced, and lived.
Make That Decision Today
Instead of running away, you’re running toward experiences, people, and self-discovery.
You could explore different destinations of your choice, document how each place teaches you something—whether it's a hidden café in Paris, the crisp beaches of the Maldives, the vast deserts of Morocco, or the vibrant streets of Tokyo. You're learning about cultures, you're getting exposed to the diversity of the human nature. It will create a long lasting impression in your mind. Whenever you feel down, you can just go back to your archives of wonderland memories and read it like a book. It will cheer you up and give you a glimmer of hope... That no matter what happens, LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL.
